Who we are
LaunchPad Digital (ABN 56 207 890 902) is a web design agency based in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. We build custom websites for Australian small businesses.
We operate the website at launchpadd.com.au and any associated subdomains.

What information we collect
Information you give us directly
When you submit an enquiry form, onboarding questionnaire, or contact us, we may collect:
- Your name
- Your business name and ABN
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- Your business address
- Information about your business and website requirements
- Any other information you choose to include in your message
Client access credentials and service delivery information
As part of delivering our services, we may collect and temporarily hold access credentials and login details provided by clients, including domain registrar logins, existing hosting account access, and CMS or platform credentials. This information is collected solely to facilitate service delivery, is stored securely, is accessible only to personnel directly involved in your project, and is deleted or returned to you upon project completion or at your request.
Where we provide clients with Editor access to their completed website, we maintain records of access credentials issued. These are treated as confidential and are handled in accordance with Clause 9 of the Client Service Agreement.
Payment information
We use Stripe to process deposit payments. The remaining project balance may be paid via bank wire transfer and ongoing retainer payments may be collected via direct debit. LaunchPad Digital does not collect, store, or have access to your full payment card details — all card payment data is handled directly by Stripe. Bank transfer and direct debit details are handled in accordance with standard financial privacy practices. See Section 4 for details.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our website, we may automatically collect:
- Your IP address
- Browser type and version
- Pages visited and time spent on each page
- Referring website
- Device type
This data is collected in aggregate through Google Analytics and does not personally identify you unless combined with other information you have provided.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your enquiry or request
- Build and deliver your website project
- Send you project-related communications, updates, and invoices
- Process payments securely via Stripe, bank transfer, or direct debit
- Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and reporting services where engaged
- Improve our website and services
- Comply with our legal and tax obligations
We will not use your personal information for unsolicited marketing without your consent. We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
Client website content
Where we build a website for you, we handle content, images, copy, and materials you supply solely for the purpose of completing your project. LaunchPad Digital is not the data controller for any personal information collected by the websites we build on your behalf — for example, contact form submissions or booking data received by your website after handover are your responsibility as the website operator.

We take reasonable steps to ensure any third parties we engage handle personal information in accordance with Australian privacy law. Where a third-party service operates outside Australia (such as Tally), we take reasonable steps to ensure that service handles information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles under APP 8.
Storage & security
Your personal information is stored on secure Australian-based servers (VentraIP). We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information from unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or disclosure — including secure storage of client credentials and access details used for service delivery.
Email communications are stored in our business email system. Form submissions processed via EmailJS and Tally are stored on their respective platforms in accordance with their security practices.
While we take reasonable precautions, no internet transmission is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of information transmitted to us online.
In the unlikely event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and take appropriate steps in accordance with applicable Australian law.
How long we keep it
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to:
- Deliver the services you have engaged us for
- Comply with our legal and tax obligations (generally 7 years under Australian law)
- Resolve disputes and enforce our agreements
Client access credentials collected for service delivery purposes are deleted upon project completion or upon your written request, whichever is earlier, unless retention is required for ongoing support services.
Website enquiries from people who do not proceed to a project are generally deleted after 12 months. You may request earlier deletion — see Section 7.
Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or outdated information
- Request deletion of your personal information (subject to our legal obligations)
- Complain about how we have handled your personal information

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies — small text files stored in your browser — to support site functionality and analytics. We ask for your consent before activating analytics cookies via the banner displayed on your first visit. Specifically:
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics): help us understand how visitors use the site. These are anonymised and do not personally identify you. Only active if you accept cookies.
- Functional cookies: may be set by third-party services embedded in the site (e.g. Stripe, Tally) as necessary for those services to operate.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be available at launchpadd.com.au/privacy-policy with the effective date shown at the top. For significant changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify affected individuals.
